Returning to Glasgow!

8 2,078

In October 2016 I visited a city that was on my bucket list of places to go and see… and that city was Glasgow, Scotland. I have a lot of good memories in that week I spent in mid-October in Glasgow. Before I left Glasgow. I told my friends that I made there that I would be back when CHVRCHES (a synth-pop band from Glasgow) plays a hometown show. That show has been announced and I have already got the tickets to this show.. also playing with The Killers and Franz Ferdinand. This is a part of a festival which lasts for two weeks at the end of June and the first weekend in July as well in Glasgow, Scotland from TRNSMT Festival. See you again Glasgow. July 2018!

Here are some photographs I took on my trip to Glasgow from October 2016

taken at Glasgow Central Station…. obviously

 George Square

Observation view of Glasgow from The Lighthouse on 11 Mitchell Lane… also it’s free entry!

with my friend Lindsey from Glasgow!

with my good friends in Glasgow, Jimmy and Erwin!

And of course, I always have to eat well when I travel or at least try to…

Chicken Goujons from Solid Rock on 19 Hope Steet. Fingers of chicken breast in batter served with… RANCH!!! Hardly could find anywhere in Cardiff that had ranch and I saw it on the menu and I was like ahhh!!! (I was in Cardiff, Wales before Glasgow on my Eurotrip 2016)

How could I not go to a bar/restaurant that had Lemmy on it?

Of course I had to make a pizza stop… at a pizza place called Pizza Punks on 90 St Vincent Street. Chicken & pepperoni, mozzarella & fior di latte, and extra jalapeños.

Poutine in Scotland! Because why not? Lol. Buffalo chicken and jalapeños and then the traditional poutine stuff. Fries, cheese curds, and gravy… Yum! From Bread Meats Bread on 104 St Vincent Street.
